What Other’s Are Saying!
Thank you so much, Charlotte.
I understand everything you wrote here very well, having had severe post-partum depression after my first child. The emotional pain was so bad that it was hard to stay alive, and Satan’s lies seemed much realer than what I know by faith. It gave me much more compassion for my own mother, who committed suicide when I was eight. I knew I couldn’t do the same thing to my own family. God healed me and my life is completely different today. Thanks for giving others hope who might be struggling as well. - Charlotte’s Heart Reader
This article was “off the charts” good! – Warren Baldwin
Thank you Charlotte for your insight and willingness to share
Once again I can relate!…not necessarily to husband 1 or husband 2, but to my need to grow and change, staying focused on what the Lord is doing in me in any of these circumstances. Thank you Charlotte for your insight and willingness to share in a way that invites many women to share in this “cyber-fellowship” and sister-hood. - Charlotte’s Heart Reader
Thank you for your desire to reach out to our sisters
Hi Charlotte, As a Christian brother in the faith, I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for your desire to reach out to our sisters. Truly, this is a topic that needs to be addressed in the world and in our own congregations. - Brandy B
This couldn’t be more timely for me.
Thanks for the reminders and the encouragement of knowing others share in the elusive balance of living Gods way! I feeling confident my husband will thank you too.:) - Charlotte’s Heart Reader
That letter was just what I needed to wake up
That letter was just what I needed to wake up and see how hard my husband works to be a provider to our family. – Brandy B
I find your honesty so refreshing
I find your honesty so refreshing, and appreciate that your willing to be so transparent with the everyday things of life. We all have our challenges and it’s such a blessing to have Christian women around who listen and don’t judge us for where we are. - Charlotte’s Heart Reader
Charlotte- Your words are grounded in truth.
They are oh so hard but oh so true and right. I can feel the self righteous anger well up inside when I read your comments to focus on changing myself! Thanks for your vulnerable words that make your writing so applicable. Praise God for your gift of writing and sharing with other women. Love, Megan - Charlotte’s Heart Reader
This is a timely article for me.
As a new mother of a 4 week old, I’ve been riddled with guilt. Just recently, my son continued crying for hours after I did everything (fed him, changed him, burped him, held him). During his crying spell, I had this tape playing in my head which said: “You’re a horrible mother. You can’t even figure out why your child is crying.” It was a battle but I finally had to uproot those lies. Thank God for His grace which has taken away my feelings of guilt. - Preselaysa
Charlotte, thank you for your vulnerability on such a sensitive topic.
How refreshingly atypical for anyone, especially a woman, to be so willing to use their life’s experience (especially the unflattering kind) with the hope of God using it for another’s good. Thank you for exercising the selflessness that this requires. - LB
Wow, as the mom of two teenage boys, I can relate to what you’ve said here, Charlotte.
