2009 In A Nut Shell

I was thinking the other day about how I love Christmas cards that have updates. I love to know what people are up to, even if I really don’t know them.  I guess that’s why I read the obits, I think people are fascinating.

Not everyone feels that way, once I heard someone make a comment about how much she can’t stand Christmas letters; needless to say I have slowed them down after hearing that.  This here is a nice solution because she won’t have to roll her eyes at mine and anyone who really cares can make the effort to find out what we were up to in 2009!

The big news was…oh where do I begin.  Grady started full day school, now I have way more time to eat bon-bons.  Actually it’s been great, especially since We Moved!

The process has been nothing short of miraculous.  We had no intentions of moving even though I had spent a great deal of time interspersing tears in the midst of complaining about the drive half an hour drive to our high school, whose presence in our lives had just surfaced not that long ago but is (Lord willing) going to be around for years to come.

It’s been a whirlwind and no doubt many things have been left upndone in the process but here I sit in my new home and I LOVE IT!
